This season is all about realizing that change starts with us—that each of us is the storyteller of our own journey. It’s a more introspective approach to our times, but maybe it’s the beginning of something new.

This year, fashion designers are turning to books for inspiration, crafting visuals they can translate into fabric. We need books to fuel our imaginations and break free from endless scrolling.

THE MINIMALIST

This style represents a mindful approach to life, valuing sustainability, aiming for personal growth, and inspiring others.

Cut: Natural bob with a soft, “broken” outline and a French twist. Micro fringe for a bold, edgy look.

Styling: Soft, glossy finish with a touch of movement, or sleek updos.

Color: A warm, earthy palette with golden and cappuccino tones that enhance the cut’s texture.

Outfits: Fitted trench coats, structured dresses in heavier fabrics, luxurious oversized coats, belted jackets, and a touch of monastic style. Fitted tops, glitter dresses, tall boots, classic pumps, pointed flats, and cozy wool pieces in black, cream, latte brown, and red.

Makeup: Freehand eyeliner, naturally defined lips.

POLISHED PUNK

Today’s punk draws from the past to shape the present, redefining itself with a fresh edge.

Cut: Layered cuts with strong texture, playful lengths, and cool-girl bangs.

Color: Freeform color technique with shades from bold to natural, giving a grunge-inspired, personalized look.

Styling: A relaxed look that actually involves some expert effort—think blow-dry or flat iron, with products for volume and intense textures. Looser updos with volume at the front.

Outfits: Florals, tartan, sharp-shouldered jackets and dresses, safety pins, a modern grunge vibe with oversized coats, glossy leather dresses, 50s-inspired full skirts, slingback flats or heels, platform sandals (Louis Vuitton), sparkly boots, military boots, with colors like black, bright yellow, and red.

Makeup: Edgy eyeliner, natural lips.
